LOSE 10KG IN 8 WEEKS
WEIGHT LOSS
Personal Training
The weight loss programme is going to help alter your mindset, break barriers and support you while you reach new fitness goals and become your best you. We will get you into a healthy routine where at the end of it you will look and feel great, and lose up to 10kg (22 lbs) in weight (or 3 dress sizes smaller).
As a professional fighter, James Toomey has to drop a lot of weight to give him an advantage over an opponent. James usually drops about 12kg (26lb) over 5/6 weeks with 3-4 kg (8lb) of it being water weight. As James uses this himself, he knows this system works to cut weight. Using mathematics he can predict the weight loss he can achieve in a specific time frame. With the same process, James can help you achieve your weight loss goals too.

FAQs
1. Which areas does your personal training cover?
Our personal trainers will cover the Brixton, Clapham, Tooting, and Streatham areas in South London. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to do your PT session at our gym in Brixton. If you can't make it to the gym, our mobile personal training will cover most of the South London area. Do let us know if you would like personal training in any other London areas we haven't specified, we might still be able to help. We also offer remote/online 1-2-1 personal training.
2. What are the benefits of a personal trainer?
First and foremost, you will get an exercise professional who understands physiology and how each exercise type will affect your body. Unlike training solo, a good PT will help prevent you from injuring yourself. They will be at hand to identify any issues you might have during your workout. They understand how each exercise type should be performed and will adjust your form to ensure you are performing each exercise correctly and effectively.
Your PT will also have accountability for you hitting your targets. Once you've outlined your expectations, they'll find the best routine and exercise groups to help you reach your goal. Going alone, the motivation to do exercises is all on your own. Your PT will be the person to motivate you to push yourself further and get you to where you want to be.
3. What can I expect at my first PT session?
We usually start with a free consultation session over the phone with clients to get a quick understanding of their current fitness level, goals, interests (in terms of training), and lifestyle, so a tailored PT plan can be written.
As each client's PT plan is tailored to them based on the information we've been given, not every PT session will be the same.
Depending on what you have outlined in your consultation, your session may include weight training or strength training, resistance band training, S&C, HIIT, and some calisthenic body-weight training. Aside from weights, we may use different types of equipment as part of your routine such as kettlebells, TRX suspension trainer, assault bikes, curve runners, ski machines, row machines, resistance bands, punch bags, or even Thai pads.
In your first session, your personal trainer will run through your workout programme and ask you to perform the exercises. During this, the PT will assess your form with each exercise ( this may correct this, where needed), ensure that there aren't any exercises you can't physically perform, and get a general understanding of your fitness level. Your workout routine may be adjusted based on your personal trainer's observations during your very first PT session.
Feel free to ask any questions about the exercises and any thoughts you might have on nutrition or your progress.
4. How long is a personal training session?
On average, a personal training session will be 45 minutes and this is what we would usually suggest. As each PT programme is tailored to you, depending on your preference, your PT session could be between 30 and 90 minutes long. Let us know your preference.

5. How often should I have personal training?
There is no hard and fast rule as to how many PT sessions you should have per week. At the minimum, you should have personal training at least once a week to experience some progress. Depending on your goals, timeframe, and ability to recover, you can have personal training between 1-6 times per week. Let us know in advance, so we can work on the best personal training programme for you. As with anything, the more you put in, the more you will gain, but don't forget to your rest days in!
6. How does fat loss personal training differ from the personal training programme?
The fat loss training programme is primarily for those who want to lose more fat. A general personal training programme may focus on building strength, fitness or muscle. While the fat loss programme has been modelled to help clients lose weight and burn fat in a shorter time frame. The fat loss personal training programme will still help clients increase their strength and fitness, however, it is primarily geared towards helping you lose weight as quickly as possible. Based on our initial consultation, your personal training blocks may include a program for your secondary goals such as weight gain or loss, maintaining weight, improving fitness, etc.
